Nationwide

There was a time when David, rather rudely, measured everything in Napster's, particularly when we were dealing with weight and width.
"That would be about two Napsters," he'd intone, hefting some heavy object...  Or, "leave the barn door open about two Napsters."

It's as valid a measurement as ells, feet, fathoms and pints, if you come right down to it.

But now, it has taken on a slightly different meaning. Napster has gone Nation-wide. No, he hasn't packed on any poundage (Taffy puppy takes her role as pysical trainer very seriously when it comes to the cats).

He's been published in the national magazine, Canadian Lodging News.  They gave him quite a spread... on paper.

Lions! Oh My!

Josh Hill's photo.
A few months back, Napster was honoured to be asked to support the Me to We Fundraiser to help send a group of students from this area to Kenya.

His art was purchased at that fundraiser by The Rt. Hon. Tony Clement, and now hangs in hallowed halls.

Well, the kids are home again. Their trip was epic, and lives will change for the better because of this experience.   These are wonderful experiences for youth -- heck, for anyone.

When asked to donate, Napster pointed out that there were lions in Kenya, his very distant cousins, and that he would be delighted to support the humanitarian work in which the students' participated, constructing a school, but that he hoped they would have the chance to see lions in the wild, to remember how small the planet really is, how fragile, and how indescribably beautiful. It is this very indescribable beauty he strives to capture with his art.

Well, he was more than delighted to see this photo, taken by Josh on the trip to Kenya.  Lions...  It's a fabulous photo, Josh. Thanks for letting us share it.

Napster has just been asked to donate another painting to the Animal Shelter for Huntsville fundraiser in April.  Will do.  And he has also been asked for a painting for the Wing and a Prayer Fundraiser in May. Of course he's on board for that.

All over Ontario, and a little side trip to New Zealand

What a great honour -- Napster was featured in the Traveller's Companion an electronic newsletter that goes all over Ontario to interested travellers.

And now he's got a phone call from another publication interested in interviewing him. His agent has been directed to be 'on that' tomorrow...

On top of which, he got his first inquiry from an art conniseur currently in New Zealand, so he has now spread his network pretty much all around the globe.  The cards are in the mail.

One of his latest works will be on auction for A Wing and a Prayer at the end of May during their Fundraising event -- watch this space for details!

Now, if he can just train Taffy to handle the orders that are coming in... he'll have it made!
